Blog, News

The coming of the Holiday Season usually heralds a boom in commercial real estate activity here in Grapevine, and this year is no different. Storefronts and kiosks have started filling up at Grapevine Mills, logistics firms are prepping for the busy season, and a handful of new establishments will be vying for the honor of being your landing zone after a long day of shopping. Thanks largely to the return of Sam's Club, the City added over 300,000 SF of new business coming into November! But that state-of-the-art wholesaler isn't even half the story regarding new attractions. Here are a few examples from all around town:

Tens of Thousands of Post Cards Later… Sam's Club Returns

Among the most hotly anticipated (re)openings this year, Sam's Club came back to Grapevine in style. Lines ran down the side of the building on Day One, and the store has earned a wealth of media coverage because of its fully automated, no-checkout system: the first of its kind in the entire brand portfolio! Executives cited the postcard campaign run in partnership between the City and the Grapevine Chamber of Commerce as a key motivator for the return, but we don't recommend sending one of those instead of a Christmas Card this year.

Things Are Hoppin' at Grapevine's Newest Hangout

With foot traffic primed to explode at Grapevine Mills over the holidays, we're thrilled to see the community embracing Hoppin', a modern restaurant with self-service beer taps that will almost certainly become a neighborhood favorite as well as a go-to spot for regrouping after a long day of hunting for deals. They've been open for less than a month and already boast an enthusiastic 4.9/5.0 stars on Google with over 50 reviews logged. Safe to say business is… (you know the rest).

If Your Skin's In Flux, Get Luxe

What's more wholesome than a small business? A small business owned by besties! The dynamic duo behind Luxe Vanity is proudly independent and dedicated to creating a vibrant, friendly environment for every guest. They promise a personal touch on each visit, which feels like the only acceptable level of care when you're getting neurotoxin and dermal filler injections. Other med spas can miss us with those impersonal needle pricks.

It's Not Just A Guitar Studio, It's The Guitar Studio

Do you have a song in your heart, but no way to get it out through your fingertips? A desperate need to sit under a tree and pluck at strings? Some awesome callouses you just aren't putting to good use? If so, we have excellent news. The Guitar Studio has expanded to Grapevine, with a pair of collegiate music professors taking up the Artist in Residence mantle for the brand's second location. Part of us hopes this becomes the origin story for Grapevine's first town troubadour, but mostly we're glad a guitar picked us for a change.

WINEstein's Prove Their Genius By Choosing Grapevine

Grapevine Economic Development is proud to introduce a wonderful couple who have been working to bring their encyclopedic knowledge of wine to Grapevine since last Winter. Winestein's Tasting Room is officially open, bringing new flavor to North Main Street while linking existing stops on the Urban Wine Tour. They specialize in tastings, flights, and non-judgemental guidance for folks who like wine but are still learning the ropes of wine culture. After all, true genius is never appreciated without a glass of wine. Einstein said that. Probably.
