About Grapevine Economic Development
Grapevine Economic Development is a department within the City of Grapevine that promotes the economic growth of the community through business retention and attraction activities. We visit 200+ businesses within the city every year to assess local needs and provide solutions in real-time.
As dedicated as we are to helping local businesses grow, we’re also actively recruiting target industries such as Retail, Restaurant, Class-A Office, Hospitality, and Entertainment. Those sectors are the backbone of our economic identity, but a closer look will prove that just about anyone can thrive here in Grapevine.
This website contains a combination of market overview and narrative information alongside site selection and workforce analysis tools. We invite you to spend some time exploring, get to know our community, and build a comprehensive report that shows just how well you’ll fit in.
Economic Development means property development and cooperation with the private sector. Our department works with developers within the community to make the most of City-owned property. Most recently, we spearheaded a public/private partnership that culminated in the installation of a $140-million commuter rail station complete with its own attached hotel and indoor food hall.
Local businesses can depend on the Department to provide support and to find creative solutions to the challenges they face. We’re happy to help with the permitting process and project support services, and eager to forge connections between employers and workforce solutions. Think of this department as your local resource for getting established and growing your business.
Businesses, site selectors, investors, and developers are invited to contact Grapevine Economic Development to learn more about the opportunities that are available within Grapevine, and to receive hands-on support and customized solutions to business needs.
