About Grapevine Economic Development
Grapevine Economic Development is a department within the City of Grapevine that promotes the economic growth of the community through business retention and attraction activities. This includes a robust BR&E program where at least 200+ Grapevine businesses are visited annually so that their needs can be assessed and solutions provided as needed.
In addition, Grapevine Economic Development has been tasked with attracting target industries that include Retail, Restaurant, Class-A Office, Hospitality, and Entertainment.
This website contains a combination of market overview and narrative info along with a site selection and workforce section that allows interested parties to conduct more detailed queries and integrated reports.
The Department is also tasked with developing City-owned property and working with the development community to develop other sites in Grapevine. We also spearheaded a public/private partnership for a $140-million train station development project that includes a hotel and indoor food hall.
Local businesses can depend on the Department to provide support and to find creative solutions to challenges they are facing. Whether this includes helping with the permitting process, being connected with workforce solutions, or helping companies find other project support services - the Department provides customized services for existing businesses and those looking to invest in the area.
Businesses, site selectors, investors and developers are invited to contact Grapevine Economic Development to learn more about the opportunities that are available within Grapevine, and to receive hands-on support and customized solutions to business needs.
