About Grapevine Economic Development

Grapevine Economic Development promotes economic growth in the City of Grapevine through business retention and attraction activities. We work together with entrepreneurs, executives, and real estate agents to build the City of Grapevine into one of the best and most unique cities in the great state of Texas. At the same time, we strive to celebrate the things that make this community unique and powerful; elevating existing companies and drawing new business into our portion of the fastest-growing metropolitan area in the U.S.

Our department works with developers within the community to make the most of City-owned property and provide insights that will help new businesses choose the right parcels for their needs. Most recently, we spearheaded a public/private partnership that culminated in the installation of a $140-million commuter rail station complete with its own attached hotel and indoor food hall. Our department also assisted with the attraction and installation of Kubota Tractor Corp's North American headquarters and a regional office for Paycom Software, Inc.
