Everything We Know (and Can Share) About Hotel Vin Reserve

News, Blog
Ever since it first opened in 2020, Hotel Vin has been a staple of the Historic District. It’s a distinct landmark with unique offerings, and as such, it’s been wildly successful. Naturally, the company behind the Autograph Collection hotel is looking to double down. Hotel Vin will double in size over the next few years, with construction on an expansion slated to break ground in late 2025. The new addition will be branded Hotel Vin Reserve, combining seamlessly with the existing building with complimentary offerings that will help to round out a perfect stay in the heart of Grapevine.
This summer, we’ll be taking an in-depth look at the entire Grapevine Main development, from our popular TEXRail station to the European Style Food Hall attached to the Vin. You can expect more incredible updates on the Reserve soon, but that’s a story for Coury Hospitality to tell.
As of this moment, here’s every publicly available detail on the expansion.
Room Capacity Will Double, Event Space Will Expand

Currently, Hotel Vin qualifies as a Boutique Hotel under city code and offers 120 guest rooms in four styles (with a bonus Presidential Suite). The expansion will double the number of keys, adding another 120 bookable rooms. Coury has not yet indicated whether the style and furnishings will be identical to existing inventory or designed to offer something different at the same level of quality, but either way, guests can expect luxurious trappings and top-notch design.
In addition, the company promises that more private event space will be set aside in the new tower. With plenty of great options available in the existing hotel, the space will most likely be designed to augment and complement the ballrooms, rooftop event space, and public plaza that make the original building so magnetic. To accommodate the increase in visitors that all those additions will generate, the proposal also calls for more paved parking on the new lot.
No Amenity Left Behind

New elements that support the existing structure are clearly front-of-mind in the new design. Coury has promised an outdoor pool and a spa – two popular hotel amenities not currently available to guests – in the second tower. Given their impressive track record with restaurants, speakeasies, and wine tastings, you can bet the final products will be immaculate and carefully programmed to offer an irresistible add-on for guests and visitors who have gotten their fill of great food and beverages.
The business plan at Hotel Vin calls for a combination of business and leisure travelers alongside local regulars, so it’s not uncommon to see Grapevine residents and employees in the existing lobby restaurant and attached food hall. No word yet on whether the spa and pool will run on that business model, but it’s fair to say the lot they’ll be taking over – once home to Sunbelt Rentals – offers a good balance of accessibility and privacy, allowing for easy booking and a sense of seclusion.
The Coury Hospitality Difference

The City of Grapevine took multiple bids for development at Grapevine Main, and Coury Hospitality won their contract with a trademark vision and commitment to getting the little details right. That’s why the building feels so perfectly ingrained within the Historic District, and how they keep every one of their unique offerings packed with patrons night after night. The company currently operates 17 properties, including 6 in DFW, and promises “you’ll never find two the same.”
Their core values are: People Come First, Activate Every Inch, Every Touchpoint Matters, Creating Community, and Winning Mindset. You will hear more about that in upcoming episodes of the ‘Growing Grapevine’ podcast, but it’s important to note that each of those commitments refers both to staff interactions and overall strategy. Final details on the construction of Hotel Vin Reserve may still be a long way off, but you can bet the whole thing will be infused with community-building energy and bespoke charm.
