Capital One’s Sanjiv Yajnik working to ‘future-proof’ Texas economy
7 Oct 2021
Texas business executive Sanjiv Yajnik can aptly be described as a caring and innovative leader, a modern day Renaissance man.
Aside from Yajnik’s position as president of the Plano-based Financial Services division of Capital One, he chairs the Dallas Symphony Association; serves as treasurer of NAF, a nonprofit that helps ensure high school students are ready for college, careers and the future; is a founding member of the Indian American CEO Council; and chairs the Collin County Business Alliance. If that weren’t enough, he served three years as chairman of the nonprofit Texas Economic Development Corporation (TxEDC), which promotes Texas as a premier business location.
Not only is Yajnik a Renaissance man, but he’s a man of action. No matter what he’s tackling at any given moment, Yajnik brims with pride over Texas’ economic development capabilities.
