News, Blog

Our City kept up the momentum for 2026, rolling out 18 verified new concepts or relocations that add up to a whopping  215,346 square feet of new concepts here in Grapevine this month! Traditionally, the team selects five and presents different concepts from the latest available Certificates of Occupancy to give readers a taste of our economy… but we couldn't hold ourselves back this time. Here are five exciting new developments or development trends from your favorite community:

Buckle Up: Sunbelt Rentals is at Full Power Now

The equipment rental company made headlines when its relocation paved the way for an expansion at Hotel Vin, but the new headquarters is newsworthy in its own right. Sunbelt didn't just swap its single location on Dallas Rd for a five-building campus; the site includes a regional training center that will power the local workforce. That's important because the other four buildings, each of which includes a specialty rental store, are going to churn up a lot of business here in the heart of DFW. Does that make us the official buckle of the Sunbelt?

Retail Sites Shape Up for the New Year

A pair of retail backfills brought nearly 65,000 square feet of exercise expertise to our community just in time to fuel your waning New Year's Resolutions. Club 4 Fitness is officially open on the South side of the City, while Entheos Training Gym will offer personal training at the former GRACE Donation Station on Scribner. That's pretty much the full range of fitness options, from pickleball and studio classes at the Club4 to one-on-one coaching from the owner at Entheos. Guess you could say we posted some serious gains.

There's No Doubting the Veracity of This One

We double-check every Certificate of Occupancy against the address on record to be sure we're only reporting verified NEW or EXPANDING/RELOCATING businesses because we value clear, honest communication. So when our team saw the word “Veracity” on the new permit list, we were understandably energized. It turns out that was the exact right reaction: Veracity is a new electrical contractor here in Grapevine, handling just about any commercial wiring you can imagine. Based in Arkansas but happily serving the Southeastern US, the team at Veracity is sure to make good use of their combination office/warehouse on Portamerica Place.

When Things Get Hairy…

Personal service vendors fit in well here. They tend to be talented, passionate, and community-minded. You know, good old-fashioned Grapevine folks. So it's no surprise that our community welcomed not one but TWO new options for residents and visitors who need a little touch-up on their noggins. Both Image Studios and Dynasty Barber Studio are suite-style setups with multiple booking options, so you can select the right professional for the style you need. Image seems to skew more toward ladies' hair services while Dynasty has a collection of slick men's cuts on display, but we think you'll be pleased no matter who makes the final cut on your list.

Foodies, Rejoice! You've Got a Trio of New Options

Restaurants are an essential part of Grapevine's economic identity, and the latest batch of food service establishments run the gamut of budgets and cuisine. Want to get the day started right? Butter My Brunch would be happy to serve you. Need a quality meal to tide you over while you mull a major purchase? Roma's Italian Bistro has backfilled the restaurant space at Stacy's Furniture. Looking for a nightcap? Try Gaylord's new speakeasy, DUSK. Honorable mention: Daily Pho is now Hoi an House, but ownership hasn't changed and the menu should feel familiar to longtime fans. That's a full day's itinerary in new inventory: three square meals and celebratory drinks!
