Blog, News
We're closing in on the end of Summer, but cool new concepts have already arrived! Franchise owners, entrepreneurs, and distributors choose Grapevine every month, and we're here to celebrate some of the most unique and well-known stores that opened their doors recently or plan to open them soon. Here are a few to keep your eye on now that they've received a Certificate of Occupancy...
Jersey Mike's Brings “The Juice” to Grapevine
Grapevine is now home to a new extension of this popular sandwich chain, known for fresh-sliced meats coated in a proprietary red wine vinegar and olive oil blend affectionately nicknamed “the Juice.” One of the first storefronts to open in a new stretch of retail space on Northwest Highway, Jersey Mike's joins Tropical Smoothie Cafe and Dutch Bros. in offering convenient access to a full menu of tasty options for all times and tastes.
New Fashion and Streetwear Brand Coming to Grapevine Mills
Given the limited number of stores in Texas, you may not recognize the AGIT name, but you won't forget the look of their products once you've seen one in the wild or dropped by the new store opening across from Spencer's near Entry 4 at Grapevine Mills. The shop will sell men's and women's clothing alongside accessories, with the location here in DFW complementing existing sites at Simon shopping centers in Cedar Park and Round Rock.
If Your Fade is Fading, Lighthouse Barbershop Can Brighten It Back Up
So new there's not even a website yet, Lighthouse Barbershop is a hit with the first batch of customers to visit since they opened at the end of July. The space is bright and trendy (and, according to one Google review, it smells great), with appointments available by phone and a batch of established regulars who swear by their stylist now that he's got a space of his own. We fully expect this spot to be a hit with the folks who live and work on the Northeast corner of the City just beyond Grapevine Mills.
This Summer Blockbuster Has an Incredible Cast (Iron)
With a new distribution center on Hanover Drive and a unique collection of goods, SOLAS Marine/Taku Ironware is making the most of a combination office/warehouse here in Grapevine! If you're in the market for boat propellers or cast iron cookware, there's a good chance you'll be shopping their wares on another vendor's show floor soon… this office was selected to fill orders for a large swatch of the United States, with goods manufactured in Taiwan and shipped through our City.
A Trio of Operators Lead a Wave of Construction Demand in DFW
Sometimes, a submarket heats up enough to warrant a big expansion here in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area. When that happens, Grapevine makes a great landing pad because of its convenient location in the middle of everything. That would certainly explain the opening of a new office for North Texas Contracting, a combined office/warehouse for Atlas Construction Supply, and an operations center for specialty vendor Bjornstad Construction Supply within weeks of each other!
