Summer is here, and with it a bunch of new businesses designed to help you make the most of longer days! Whether you need a fresh haircut, a new roof, or a rental instrument to keep those orchestra skills sharp over the break, these new vendors have you covered across Grapevine:

Raise the Roof with BME Exteriors

The unpredictable Texas storm season is coming to an end, and we're hoping your roof survived another round of heavy rains and hail advisories. But if you need repairs - or if you're just in the market for a remodel - BME Exteriors can help. While their main product lines are roofing and gutters, their work isn't restricted to the roofline. This is a family-owned business that vows to treat your home like their own while they're working, no matter what needs an update.

Still Close and Still Tight Knit

The Barbershop is its own culture, and the folks at Close Knit have built a dedicated following here in Grapevine. They'll be moving out of their Main Street storefront at the end of the month, but longtime fans and prospective new clients need not fear: they're only moving down the street. You can book a cut and/or shave on Main Street for the rest of this month, or at their new store in Grapevine Towne Center starting July 1… so business will continue at a good clip!

Sketchers Sneaks into 9,800 new Square Feet

New kicks and a trip to the mall just go together, and we're delighted to share that Sketchers now offers a brand new shopping experience at Grapevine Mills. The updated storefront combines two smaller boxes into 9,796 square feet to accommodate every color and style you could possibly dream of… which is good, because we expect shoppers at one of America's Top 10 Malls will get a lot of steps in this summer.

Texas-Sized Instruments Without the Texas-Sized Price Tag

You might not be familiar with the sprawling, mallet-driven keyboard known as the marimba, but it's a sure bet the folks at Texas Marimbas know enough for the rest of us. Their new office here in Grapevine is an operations center for shipping and storing rental instruments all over the metroplex, helping you avoid the hassle of building a new room for the five-foot-long behemoth your high school percussionist is trying to master during the break.

Get the Reel Deal at Southwestern Parts

There's an ancient legend about a fisherman who so perfected the patience required for the trade that he could catch his prey with a straight hook just by waiting for the right fish. If that sounds like more work than getting your old rod and reel patched up, we recommend Southwestern Parts. They can get your tackle sorted and get you back on the lake faster than anyone will reach aquatic enlightenment, which is probably ideal if you only have a short window in which to cast a line this summer.
