Grapevine-Colleyville ISD’s director of health services Amy Taldo has received a national honor.
Taldo has been named the 2021 National Certified School Nurse of the Year by the National Board for Certification of School Nurses, according to a Grapevine-Colleyville ISD news release.
The award, which she received in a virtual ceremony last month, recognizes Taldo for “her efforts to promote school nurse certification at the national, state, or local level, as well as enhance competency and expertise among school nurse professionals,” the release said.
