On September 15, 2025, Dallas Snow assumed the role of Commercial Outreach Manager in the Grapevine Economic Development Department. With a background in planning and project management, Dallas brings a new perspective to the team: that of a prospect on the other side of the negotiating table. She has extensive experience leading and collaborating on numerous development projects, including key contributions to projects with the City of Grapevine. While her daily assignments here at City Hall will be focused on business attraction and engagement with commercial real estate brokers, we believe her skill set will make her an invaluable member of the team on every front.
Dallas moved to DFW shortly after graduating from Louisiana Tech University with a bachelor’s in interior design from the School of Architecture. For the next 23 years, she held leadership roles at Jones Commercial Interiors, Thiel & Team, and PDR. She is a registered interior designer in the state of Texas, serves on Parks and Recreation Advisory Board in the City of Hurst, and is the proud mother of three children in GCISD schools. To give you a better sense of just how special she is, we asked a few introductory questions on your behalf:
Where are you from originally, and what makes DFW feel like home now?
I’m originally from Biloxi, Mississippi, but I’ve called Texas home since 2002. I first came here for a job thinking I’d stay just a year or two, but I fell in love with Texas and never left! My husband grew up in the Grapevine area, and we eventually settled here to be closer to family. Now, DFW truly feels like home. It’s where our roots have grown and where we’ve built our community.
What brought you to the public side of development, and why Grapevine?
After spending years on the private side of development, I was excited to bring that experience to Grapevine, where I could help shape growth from a community perspective. Grapevine is where we do life, and getting to contribute professionally to the area we call home has been incredibly rewarding. It’s a chance to use my background to support local businesses, attract new opportunities, and help Grapevine continue to thrive.
Which part of the job gets you most excited to come into the office?
Honestly, it’s the people and the connections. I love getting to meet business owners, brokers, and developers who are passionate about what they do, while finding ways to help them succeed here in Grapevine. Every day brings a new conversation or opportunity, and that variety keeps things exciting. Plus, working with such a great team that truly cares about this community makes it easy to look forward to coming in.
How do you break the ice when networking, and what’s the best way to approach you for a first meeting?
I’m very easy to approach. I genuinely enjoy meeting new people! When I’m networking, I like to look for new faces in the room and introduce myself. For me, it’s all about making a real connection and getting to know someone as an individual, not just what they do professionally. If you see me at an event, don’t hesitate to say hello. I’m always up for a good conversation and learning more about what brought you there.
Outside of work and family, what are you most proud of? Any hidden talents or special accomplishments to share?
I’m proud of the relationships I’ve built through community involvement. Whether it’s volunteering, supporting local businesses, or helping organize events, I love being part of something that brings people together. It’s rewarding to know you’re contributing in small ways to the community and area you call home.
