You’re sure to find something for the entire family.

Why South Grapevine?

South Grapevine is home to a rapidly growing community, with a population of families and young professionals with disposable income. Businesses are moving in to serve this rapidly growing population. And its proximity to Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport makes it a destination for travelers and tourists. The area has a lot to offer businesses looking for a location to call home. Here’s what people love about it:

Quality of Life

With excellent schools, parks, recreational areas, modern infrastructure and connectivity, an historic downtown area, and other unique attractions, Grapevine is an attractive place for businesses and employees alike.

Easily Accessible

Grapevine is located just 10 miles from Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) International Airport, the second-busiest airport in the world. The Trinity Metro TEXRail — a 27-mile commuter train — connects riders from the Grapevine Main Station to Terminal B of DFW. A City-operated shuttle can even take you to Chicken N Pickle from there! Additionally, ample interstate and railroad access makes it easy to move goods and services and encourages community members to explore other parts of the metro area.

Business-Friendly Environment

The State of Texas is one of only nine states in the U.S. that do not levy state income taxes. Its regulatory environment encourages entrepreneurship and investment with programs like the Texas Enterprise Fund, which offers grant money to businesses considering bringing their business to Texas or a viable out-of-state location. In addition to state incentives, Grapevine offers tax abatements, grants, and even tax credits for businesses that operate in historic districts or are involved in the preservation of historic properties.

South Grapevine Businesses are Thriving.

Chama Gaucha, a Brazilian Steakhouse, offers all-you-can-eat, carved-tableside meats and a salad bar. The restaurant opened its South Grapevine location in February 2023 and has accumulated hundreds of 5-star reviews. “Combined with curated cocktails and wine, excellent customer service, and a sophisticated interior, we’re bringing a new and thrilling culinary experience to Grapevine,” said João Carlos Ongaratto, owner of Chama Gaucha.

The Balkan Garden Bistro has had a similar experience. “There’s nothing like this here [in Grapevine],” said Adelisa Ramovic, owner of Balkan Garden Bistro. “The Balkan restaurants here are more of a fast-food vibe. They’re not like a fine dining restaurant where you can dress up, sit down, and eat. We’re always searching for something no one else has ever done.” Balkan Garden’s reviews talk about the uniqueness of the food, the delicious cocktails, and the authentic taste of Balkan cuisine.

With the success of other unique businesses and restaurants in South Grapevine, opening its seventh location here was a no-brainer for Chicken N Pickle. “The community was hungry for a new venue that offered great food and fun for families and friends every day of the week,” Carrie Bartlow, director of marketing for Chicken N Pickle, said.

The pickleball courts are a unique addition to the neighborhood, offering a place for people of all ages and ability levels to come together for fun, friendship, and community. The courts are also home to a thriving group of wheelchair pickleball players who love when guests gather to catch their games.
