You Won't Say Naah Naah Nah Nah-Nah-Nah-Naah to Hey Dude

These days, most business is at least a little business-casual. If you're looking to upgrade your footwear without taking a big hit to the wallet or the wardrobe, Hey Dude is for you. Specializing in cozy-cool slip-on shoes for all styles, this hot new retail destination is opening at Grapevine Mills just in time for your back-to-school shopping spree.

Get a Fruitful Education at Vine Academy

We love Grapevine-Colleyville ISD, but public education isn't everyone's first choice. For families looking to take a modern (and faith-based) approach to school, Vine Academy offers another option right here in Grapevine. Vine currently focuses on kids 4-11, with students divided into two "studios" by age: Spark for younger learners and Elementary for kids on the upper end of the range.

Time to MIG It Official

MIG Real Estate is a real estate brokerage here in DFW, with parent offices on the West Coast. They've been involved in deals around Grapevine before, but the market must be heating up because they took the plunge and opened an office in the middle of Historic Downtown.

When It Comes to Builders, It's OK to Tackett On

Tackett Concrete can help with everything the name implies and more. The company has been around since 2008, but its office here in Grapevine received its certificate of occupancy at the tail end of July. A small business with heavy involvement from its founder, Tackett can handle paving and concrete installation from start to finish.

Coming Soon: A Mysterious New Taco Shop?

This one is so fresh we can't actually confirm it yet. A Certificate of Occupancy has been issued for the old Peaceburger in Grapevine Towne Center, but the new tenant's name wasn't attached. The c/o issued was, indeed, for a restaurant... but the only permits on file were for "Tacos la Central;" a business so new to Grapevine that it doesn't even have a website yet.
