Every one of our parks has its own unique and memorable features. Whether you are looking for a botanical garden, swimming, and kayak rentals, family-friendly hikes, picturesque views of Grapevine Lake, or camping with fire pits and playgrounds -- Grapevine has it all! 

The City also operates a multigenerational recreation center, The REC of Grapevine, which offers all types of fitness under one roof, from exercise machines and classes to aquatics and an award-winning indoor playground. Additionally, REC of Grapevine proudly introduces a new adaptive recreation program, Club All-Access, that brings about positive emotional, social, physical, and cognitive changes in individuals with special needs through adaptability, inclusiveness, and community integration. The great staycation setting, Meadowmere Park’s sprawling acres offer glistening water, sandy beaches, and green grassy expanses. Options include renting kayaks or stand up paddleboards for an afternoon of fun.

Parr Park

Everyone you know will be quickly won over by all the fun that Parr Park has to offer. The playground structures are extensive and offer appropriate activities for hesitant toddlers and wild middle schoolers alike, and kids who love climbing will instantly adore the enormous webs of rope that really test their limits. The park links up to the Bear Creek trail system so a hike is always an option when you visit and the sprayground is perfect for cooling off in the summertime.

The Botanical Garden Green House opened in 2017 and offers educational classes with hands-on lessons focused on plant propagation, container gardening, transplanting, and more. A wide variety of plants are grown to add to the stunning Gardens and special civic events held there.

Casey’s Clubhouse Pavilion

Dove Park

Established in 1970, Dove Park is a community park with a swimming pool,basketball, sand volleyball and tennis courts. Casey’s Clubhouse is located in the southeast corner of the park and offers a walking trail, sprayground, and pavilions.

Grapevine Botanical Gardens at Heritage Park

Spend time with your family at the award-winning Botanical Gardens, breathing in the gorgeous plantlife and taking a relaxing stroll. Or learn about the plants within the garden from a docent-led tour or by taking a horticulture class. The gardens are also available for wonderful backdrops for family photos.

Heritage Park

As the first park in Grapevine, Heritage Park is filled with history. Once a basket-making factory for cantaloupe farmers, the park and pavilion create a beautiful backdrop for breathtaking photographs. With two play structures for kids to run around, tennis courts, spacious fields for a game of tag or Frisbee, there’s room for everyone to enjoy their passion there. Benches speckled throughout the park invite quiet time. Additional picnic tables and a pavilion are available for lunch or snack time.

Katie’s Woods Park

Katie’s Woods Park is ideal for shore fishing on Grapevine Lake, with its rocky coves. Or spend a peaceful day walking along the shady hiking trails. The main nature trail will guide you through the woods out to the cliffs to gaze out over the water-perfect setting to watch the sun set. The park offers a boat ramp, with a great access point to get out and enjoy the water year round. 

Liberty Park

Surrounded by beautiful landscaping on Grapevine’s Main Street, Liberty Park offers historical gems such as Torian Cabin, built in 1945 and preserved by the Grapevine Historical Society. Grapevine’s first piece of public art, “Walking to Texas” stands as a tribute to the pioneer families who came west.
